    @PlayingWiithFire

The airsoft=pussy was not not needed. The most ironic part is that the U.S. Army along with dozens of military forces around the world use airsoft for training, so I wouldn’t be saying shit.

  2. chaoslupine says:

….more like they use simmunition its chalk or paint rounds not airsoft

    ps3 firearms enthusiasts. :]

  4. tylerboy3333 says:

why do u have airsoft shit on this…

  5. Gumpa2 says:

but this gun is also based on the fn minimi!

  6. deathangellink says:

how is that a *heavy* machinegun ? the M240 is a medium machinegun and it use the nato 308 round. why do this gun using the same round is considered as a *heavy* machinegun ? for me the MINIMUM caliber to be considered heavy is the .50BMG. THAT is a heavy round.

  7. FearTheGremlin says:

Pause at 2:52 – looks like 7.62×51 NATO rounds.
Pause at 3:03 – looks like 7.62×39 Soviet rounds.
Maybe just the angle of the camera? I can’t tell.

  8. FearTheGremlin says:

@deathangellink – The MG42 was, I believe, considered a heavy machine gun, while only firing the 8mm Mauser. Maybe the classification has to do with caliber compared with rate of fire. I agree that this doesn’t seem to qualify as a ‘heavy’ MG.

@MrPokeSplicer cuz all the COD fags think they know shit about guns and the battlefield just cuz they play MW2.

  10. btschwab805 says:

needs a bullet shield to protect the uper body in prone position. it would make semi-invincible americans

  11. IGGY904 says:

tru story firing the real thing is better

  12. KymeraGR7 says:

@IGGY904 true story: fighting in real life is better.

  13. NielsShoe says:

Think its called heavy because its not a light MG its the SAW re designed to fire what a GPMG fires making it heavier and more recoil.

  14. gameer5 says:

great weapon but its just a drama music introducer sound effects
the enemy you shoot also they try to shoot
the better weapon is the fighter who know the area and the plans even with
    ak 47

  15. drockhaines says:

Hate to break ur bubble but the MK-48 is a light machingun a modified m249 but the heavy is the m240

  16. reddyeddy69 says:

This weapon has advantages over its M240 and M249 predeccessors. It fires a full sized rifle round that can destroy the engine block of an attacking ‘Technical’ type improved armed vehicle and as it ejects its spent shells from the side not the bottom, you can hang a 100-rnd+ammo bag directly under the receiver. This balances better. BTW, I think the term Light is applied to any bipod mounted MG, mag or belt fed like the Lewis or BREN gun. Despite the name, BARs fit in this category.

@drockhaines the MK-48 fires a 7.62 Nato, not sure what you consider light or heavy but compared to an M249, it’s heavy!. It’s an upgraded M240

  19. drockhaines says:

@thegreatpumpkinshot no the mk-48 is an upgraded M249 not m240 and a heavy machinegun is a gun that would be to heavy to carrier around or pick up to fire for long time and the mk-48 can be held for long time keep your facts right plz :3

  20. MrChrispocalypse says:

“When you and your frends have to go on psn and shoot” lol

  21. Voodoonachoman says:

@drockhaines a machine gun is classed as light or heavy based on the round it fires, if it fires a 5.56 it’s light like the m249, if it fires a 7.62 it’s heavy as it fires a full sized round like the m240B. Also a mk48 isnt a upgrade of anything and if it was a upgrade it would obviously be one of the mk46…Please get your facts straight before claiming others are incorrect

  22. ImEternalWanderer says:

@Voodoonachoman The Mk48 IS an M249 but scaled up to fire a bigger round (7.62 instead of 5.56) so drockhaines was right, it’s an M249 upgrade (sort of).
While you are right that the type of machine gun is based on the round (also, partially), 7.62 rounds are not in the “heavy” class. Heavies are in the .50 cal, 12.7 mm class.
7.62 range MGs are in either Medium MGs for General Purpose MGs (GPMG) or both. GPMGs refer to MGs which can be used on bipod or tripod. Examples are MG42, MG34 and M240

  23. tomppa89 says:

At least when I was in Finnish Defence forces 7.62 was considered light machine gun. .50cal and larger are considered heavy.

  24. RiceTac says:

The MK48 is a light machine gun, not a heavy. An example of an HMG would be the Browning M2.

  25. RiceTac says:

@Voodoonachoman The M240B is a medium machine gun. Definitely not a heavy. I am currently in the military and my unit is issued M240B’s.
